The Travolution Awards have published their 2026 shortlist, and GP Solutions is on it in three categories. For the second year in a row, our team has made the shortlist in three nominations at once.

Our company has been shortlisted in the following categories:

Best Large Technology Supplier

This category recognizes the large travel technology developer that has progressed most in its field over the past year. Our entry covered a year in which GP Travel Enterprise became the main growth engine of our business, and the way we build software was rebuilt around AI.

Over the past 12 months:

  • The GP Travel Enterprise product team grew almost 2.5x.
  • We welcomed a number of new clients, several of them already live, and a large Australian travel group goes live at the end of 2026.
  • We shipped almost 500 new capabilities across 13 platform releases.
  • Our Amadeus certified partner territory grew in April 2026 to cover dozens of new markets across Europe and Africa.
  • Sabre added us to its list of developers migrating agency applications to the new Sabre Agency Workspace.
  • AI-driven development on Claude Code, first built as our own engineering process, is now a service we offer to clients.

Behind these results is a combination few travel technology companies have under one roof: a ready-made platform for tour operators and DMCs, and a custom development practice that builds on top of it. Our clients stay with us for 10+ years on average.

Best Technology Innovation

This category recognizes the most innovative software or hardware product for the travel sector that is already running in a live, test or pilot environment. Our entry is the eco-focused hotel booking marketplace we designed and built end-to-end for Zero Stars Hotels, a Greek travel-tech company.

The platform unbundles the hotel room at amenity level. Each physical room can be sold in three forms:

  • Basic: the conventional rate with all services included.
  • Sustainable: a hotel-defined version with selected services removed.
  • Zero: a reduced base rate where guests add back only the services they want, each priced individually.

Guests see the price difference and the CO₂ saving before they book. The emissions figure is calculated from appliance-level energy data each hotel provides. Those inputs are checked at onboarding, so savings cannot be inflated.

Zero Stars Hotels has no in-house IT team, so we delivered the full build on GP Travel Enterprise: the booking site, hotelier extranet, emissions engine, inventory logic, payments, loyalty engine, and channel manager integration. The platform launched commercially on 15 August 2026 and took bookings on its first day. In September, GTP Headlines tested it on a nine-night stay on Samos: the Sustainable Room came in €432 below the standard €1,620 rate.

Best Technology Partnership (with HotelPORT®)

This category recognizes technology firms that pool their resources and know-how to create better solutions for travel. We share this nomination with HotelPORT® for PropertyVIEW®, a content governance platform for hospitality businesses.

PropertyVIEW keeps a property’s name, contact details, descriptions, images, amenities, and policies accurate across OTAs, metasearch engines, GDSs, maps, and other channels. It builds a verified master record for each property, audits every channel against it, flags discrepancies, and re-audits to confirm that corrections are actually live.

Each partner brings one half of the product. HotelPORT contributes its hospitality content governance expertise and relationships with hotel operators. GP Solutions built the platform and runs the Content Operations division behind it: 45+ specialists who complete more than 120,000 quality audits a year.

This year, the partners rebuilt the model around AI and machine learning. Automation now handles detection and comparison across channels, while analysts focus on corrections, judgment, and verification, including on channels that block automated checks. The result is up to 80% less manual content work for hotel distribution teams, and property data that AI-driven travel search can present accurately.

“Our partnership is founded on transparency and trust, making them feel less like a service provider and more like an integral part of our team — a rare find in today’s business landscape.”

— Fred Bean, Founder & CEO at HotelPORT®

Award Ceremony

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 26 November 2026, at City Central at The HAC, London. The evening brings together travel brands, technology partners, and innovators for a drinks reception, dinner, the ceremony itself, and an afterparty.

We thank our partners at HotelPORT and Zero Stars Hotels, whose work is part of these nominations, and congratulate everyone on this year’s shortlist. We’ll share the results after the ceremony. Fingers crossed!
