Releases 12.4–12.5 of GP Travel Enterprise are out, and both work on the stretch between the quote and the supplier. Tour operators and DMCs get quotations they can re-check and book at the quoted price, allocations that go on sale only once the supplier confirms them, and a purchase order behind every booked service.
Releases 12.4–12.5 at a glance
Below, section by section, are the changes to GP Travel Enterprise by GP Solutions that matter most in day-to-day work. The list is selective; the Release Notes linked at the bottom of the page cover everything else in 12.4–12.5.
Quotations and Reservations
Reservation Statuses You Define
Reservation statuses in GP Travel Enterprise come from a dictionary you can extend with your own statuses, each sitting under a system status such as Draft, Quote Failed, or Statement Issued. Statuses show as colored chips labelled Quotation or Booking, so the reservation list tells your team where each trip stands.
With the Draft status, your team can build a quotation while the agency sees a short placeholder message instead of half-finished services.

Reservation Statuses You Define
Check Availability for Quoted Services
You can re-check the quoted services on a reservation with their suppliers in one step, without booking them. Each service shows either No changes or what changed in availability, price, or cancellation policy, with old and new values side by side. Where a price has moved, you choose service by service whether the client keeps the quoted price or gets the new one, and you can also book a service at its original quoted price. Agents no longer re-validate quotes by hand, and the price you quoted can still be honored.

Check Availability for Quoted Services
What else is new:
- You can add a reason and a comment when you cancel a service, a reservation, or a quote.
- You can search and fill every placeholder in a reservation in one step, with the cheapest suitable offer added as a quote.
- Quote It Again works for packages and for multi-unit hotel and cruise bookings.
- You can reorder a reservation’s service groups by dragging them, and their dates recalculate.
- A reservation can name three managers: Booking Manager, Operating Manager, and Key Account Manager.

Search and Book
Airport Transfers in Flight + Hotel Packages
The flight + hotel dynamic package in GP Travel Enterprise adds an arrival and a departure transfer and includes them in the total. Changing the hotel or the flight’s airports searches the transfers again, and if none is available, you can still book flight + hotel with a prompt to add a transfer separately. The search tab reads Easy Quote (Flight+Hotel+Transfer), and the reservation holds everything as one dynamic package.

Airport Transfers in Flight + Hotel Packages
What else is new:
- You can limit a flight search to up to one, two, or three stops.
- You can search or filter flights by public or private fare type.
- Travel agency flight searches use the fare codes you uploaded most recently.
- The package start-date calendar shows availability for each month, up to 12 months ahead.
- First-level tour-operator users can show or hide supplier prices while they search, for example when sharing their screen with a client.
Product and Inventory
A Stage on Every Allocation
Allocations in the new Inventory of GP Travel Enterprise carry a stage: Draft, Requested, Confirmed, or Rejected. New allocations start as drafts, Request supplier confirmation moves them to Requested, and only confirmed allocations can be sold. Your contracting team can load a contract early without the risk of selling space the supplier hasn’t agreed to.

A Stage on Every Allocation
What else is new:
- Each pool has a calendar and a priority order for its allocations, and a pool can be switched off to return unsold space to free sale.
- Unsold allocated space is released automatically a set number of days before check-in.
- Bookings held with an option count as pre-confirmed until they’re confirmed.
- A third allocation type, Commitment, creates a purchase order for each committed date.
- Own transfers can last several days, which suits coach journeys.

Purchase Orders and Suppliers
Purchase Orders You Can Browse
Every booked service in GP Travel Enterprise creates a supplier purchase order, and your team can find and work with them under Purchase Orders. The list shows each order’s supplier, service, dates, and price, filters by supplier payment status, and links to the sales order on the other side of the booking.
Each purchase order has its own payment schedule, so you can record supplier payments against it and see the outstanding balance.

Purchase Orders You Can Browse
What else is new:
- Suppliers who log into the portal see their purchase orders, with supplier prices, in place of your reservations.
- Each supplier’s profile has a tab with its purchase orders, price totals, and payment status.
- An own product can record its organizer, the company that actually runs it, separately from the supplier.
Packages
Simple and Component Packages
Creating a package starts with a choice between a simple package and a component package. A simple package has free-text components, manual pricing, package-level allotment, and any supplier; a component package is built from real products, with dynamic, manual, or pre-calculated pricing. The form, search, and booking follow the type you pick, so each package gets only the setup it needs.

Simple and Component Packages
What else is new:
- When a tariff takes prices from another tariff, the source list shows each tariff’s contract number.
Pricing, Payments, and Finance
Withholding Tax on Agency Commission
You can withhold tax from an agency’s commission at a rate set from your own Withholding taxes dictionary. For that agency’s reservations on a gross invoicing profile, the tax is calculated from the commission and shows as Withholding tax and Total to be paid in the price breakdown. Your finance team gets the deduction in the booking itself instead of working it out separately.

Withholding Tax on Agency Commission
What else is new:
- You can format the traveler-facing descriptions of discounts and cancellation penalties in a rich text editor.
- A conditional discount set to Always apply is offered even under tariffs that allow only one discount or the best one.
- Payment plans are managed in the new front end, where you can drag payment methods into order.
Administration
You can add your own fields to travel agency profiles, set each one as required or optional, and fill them in on the new Additional details tab of each agency’s profile.
Documents
- Invoices, and any other document types you choose, can be kept as a numbered history in the reservation’s attachments, with creation date and author.
- Three settings, available on request, hide the reservation documents panel, the Generate file button, or the Voucher buttons.
Integrations and APIs
- Amadeus Hotel Quick Connect: registered as a hotel supplier in every GP Travel Enterprise installation, ready for your support team to connect.
- Nezasa: ground transport responses carry the segments list that version 1.3 of Nezasa’s Connect API requires.
- Authorization API: login takes the credentials in the body of a POST request, and the REST API log masks tokens, API keys, and Authorization headers.
This post covers the highlights; the Releases 12.4–12.5 Release Notes have the rest, including the changes that apply as soon as you upgrade. Current clients can ask their support team or dedicated contact when each feature reaches their installation, and anyone new to GP Travel Enterprise can get in touch to see it working with their own products.
