en We are delighted to share with you that our company GP Solutions, a travel technology company that develops and automates travel software, has taken part in the RSB Annual Conference 2023. This was an amazing opportunity for us to learn from the pioneers who are leading the way towards a bio-based and circular economy.
The conference took place from 14th to 16th November 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland. It gathered RSB members and guests from the wider stakeholder community, who shared their stories and insights from the past decade of sustainability innovation.
We are honored to have developed a unique solution for RSB: the RSB Book & Claim Registry. This is a secure digital application that enables suppliers of sustainably certified fuels to separate the sustainability attributes from the physical product and register them as Book & Claim Units (BCUs). Then, the BCUs can be transferred to any buyer, anywhere in the world, regardless of the physical product. The RSB Registry tracks the transfer of these BCUs, issuing retirement statements to companies who want to make credible sustainability claims.
We launched the first version of the RSB Registry a few weeks ago and it was presented at the conference. We will continue to develop and improve this solution, as we believe it is a key tool to increase the outreach of sustainable fuels and speed up the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation and shipping.
By working with RSB, we are contributing to the Net-Zero Emissions by 2050 plan, which is a global effort to achieve net-zero emissions across the energy sector by 2050. This is a vital goal to keep the world safe and livable for future generations.
